• Powering Process Automation: An Introduction to Ethernet-APL
  

  Join us for an in-depth technical overview of Advanced Physical Layer (APL) technology and its game-changing impact on process automation.  Ethernet-APL operates within the ISO/OSI model to deliver high-speed, two-wire Ethernet communication.

  Covering the practical application of combining power supply, data transmission, and intrinsic safety over a single cable directly into hazardous field environments. Attendees will learn how APL simplifies field architecture, eliminates protocol gateways, and equips engineers and technologists with real-time field device diagnostics for advanced asset management and troubleshooting.
