- Integration of Force Measurement in Mobile Working Machines
- Presenting how Force feedback is incorporated into mobile machinery used in a variety of different applications. Discussion includes the type of load cell that is used, the reasons for selecting a specific load cell for each type of machine, and performance and longevity expectations. This presentation can help you understand how and where load cells may be incorporated into your machinery where improvements in equipment performance and safety are a concern.

- Rob is a veteran of the sensing world with over 30 years of experience providing engineer-to-order solutions for measurement, feedback/control, and automation systems. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Technology. His experience with different measuring includes in-depth knowledge of Force, Pressure, Differential Pressure, Reactionary Torque, Temperature, and Displacement to mention a few. The technologies he has utilized to make these measurements includes Bonded Foil Strain Gage, Thin Film Strain Gage, Semi-Conductor Strain Gage, Inductance, Precision Resistance, and Precision Optical. His management roles within the industry have been varied in order of years served in Engineered Application Solutions, Technical Field Service, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing. In his current role he is Sales Applications Specialist for Force and doing what he does best, solving tough engineering problems for customers as they relate to making real-world measurements.
