The inability to monitor key power supply diagnostics leaves plants unable to prevent such shutdowns or anticipate potential issues. Without critical event visibility\, plants don’t have the necessary tools to troubleshoot issues before they become catastrophic. Unfortunately\, all power supplies have an end-of-life. Uncertainty around when a power supply will reach that point makes it difficult to plan accordingly. This session provides a real look into the application of smart power supplies and how to utilize this capability to efficiently monitor critical power to the control system.\n\n\n\nSpeaker \n\nJay Hendrix – Emerson\n\nJay is responsible for product vision\, strategy\, and development for SolaHD connected products.
